Due to the nature of the camp, Camp SMILE requires that all overnight volunteers attend a 3-day training session on working with individuals with disabilities prior to camp. Both of these are offered to volunteers at minimal to no cost at all.

** Mandatory for all 1st time counselors**

Camp Sessions: Summer 2025

Week 1 (Ages 5 - 13) : Monday, June 23rd - Friday, June 27th

Week 2 (Ages 19 - 25) : Monday, June 30th - Friday, July 4th

Week 3 (Ages 14 - 18) : Monday, July 7th - Friday, July 11th

Week 4 (Ages 26 and older) : Monday, July 14th - Friday, July 18th

Volunteers may sign up to work one, two, three, or four sessions. Each session, volunteers must arrive at camp on Monday morning and plan to stay until Friday evening.

If you have any questions about camp or the schedule, you may contact UCP at anytime. However, we offer an Open House at Camp where you can receive a tour and have many questions answered. We will also schedule interviews for each prospective volunteer and you may ask questions then as well. Click to view a counselor job description.
